"Rotary
Table", "Holding Device" and "LB-clamps"
By using the manual
rotary table together with the horizontal positioning of the spindlemotor
it is possible - with a 3-axis CNC milling machine - to mill out
models that are normally
produced on 5-axis CNC-machines only,
- and avoid moving the model plate during milling . . . . .
The permanent
positioning of the model material and the "mathematical"
calculation of the starting
points of the milling (see page 1) minimise the risk of faulty
milling.
A positioning accuracy of 0,3 mm (by rotating the rotary table with
a diameter of 475 mm)
corresponds
to a rotation inaccuracy of only 0,07 degrees.

The Manual Rotary Table:
The rotary table
is made of "micro-cellular-polyurethane-board"
with a specific weight of 650 kg/m3. The thickness of
the rotary
table is 20 mm,
and it is provided with engraved angle-lines
and degree indications for the positioning, as shown on the
photo.
In the centre of the rotary table there is a bush, made of
aluminium. The pivot is made of steel.

Holding
device for Horizontal Positioning of Spindlemotor:
The holding device
for horizontal positioning of the spindlemotor is made of a special
resin-impregnated-
plywood of beech (strenght as aluminium). The holding device is
delivered complete with screws and nuts.

The
ordinary alu-holding device for vertical
mounting of the spindlemotor (from the
AutoGrav machine) is used together with
the holding device.

The holding device in the photo has been
adjusted to AutoGrav's CNC milling machi-
nes. Adjustments to other CNC milling
machines is made per arrangement.

LB-clamps:
LB-clamps, made of a special
resin-impregnated plywood of beech
(strenght as aluminium), constitute a fast and flexible
solution to
the fixing of milling work pieces on tables with T-slots.
LB-clamps are designed so that each individual clamp provides
both horizontal and vertical fixing of the work piece.
LB-mini-clamps span height 0 - 50 mm.

LB-maxi-clamps span height 40 - 150 mm. Price:
